A baby’s skin is a lot thinner and more fragile than an adult’s and with an immune system that’s just getting to grips with its foggy surroundings even the most diligent care can struggle against the ever increasing prevalence of adverse skin and health conditions.

PURBabies, rather aptly, was born out of the need to cut through the confusion when it comes to choosing genuinely natural and organic products for family use. Our parent brand, PUR Skin Care, was started around 8 years ago to provide organic skincare preparations for professional beauty practitioners keen to provide a natural alternative for their clients.

But time and again we were being told by our customers that they were using our organic formulations on their children. It seems that the massive increase in child care products claiming to be natural was confusing to the point that many parents preferred to play it safe and rely on what they knew.

In 2008 PURbabies was launched in response to the concern and confusion among parents about chemically enhanced products. Our entire Mother and Baby Care range is certified by the Soil Association, and to help parents to cut through the marketing spin and make the right choice, we are committed to developing only those products that are pure enough to achieve certification.
